Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist who currently competing in the UFC flyweight division. She is the older sister of the fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started with her debut as an Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia started her professional journey at the age of 23 in 2003. She has won several championships, including the K-1 World Championships, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas during her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. Antonina shevchenko fought her debut professional MMA fight in 2002 against Anara bayanova at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won via TKO during the 2nd round and went on to win her two subsequent bouts and both of them at the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded the record of 3-0 in MMA. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to concentrate on kickboxing. She came back against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa Haddaoui by the unanimous verdict. She was then able to defeat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, by a unanimous decision. In 2018, she resigned from the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night in that bout. Shevchenko went 1-2 over the next three fights, defeating Ariane Lipski before losing to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
